Scar therapy helps to improve not only the appearance of your scar but also reduce any pain and tightness that can develop as the scar is healing. Scar massage reduces any scar tissue build-up and helps make for a healthier scar.
Whether your scar is from a C-section, hysterectomy, laparoscopy, appendix or gallbladder surgery, or a larger abdominal procedure, this gentle treatment helps you reconnect with your body and feel more comfortable. Scars often hold a lot of emotion and are more than just physical marks. This is a safe space to process and heal.

Frequently asked questions
When can I start abdominal scar therapy?
Treatment can begin once your scar is completely closed and fully healed, typically around 6–8 weeks after surgery. There must be no open wounds, scabbing or signs of infection. If you're unsure whether you're ready, just get in touch.
Is it ever too late to start scar therapy?
No. It's never too late to start. Scars that are many years old can still benefit, with clients often noticing changes in tightness, numbness and how freely the area moves.
Is scar therapy painful?
No. The techniques are gentle and non-invasive, and are always adjusted to your comfort. Most clients find their sessions deeply soothing and relaxing.
How many sessions will I need?
Every scar and every person is different, so there's no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients notice changes after one or two sessions, while others benefit from a course of treatments. After your first session I'll be able to give you a better idea of what might work best for you.
