Your body can change in many ways after breast surgery, and the physical effects can sometimes continue long after the initial healing has taken place. Scar tissue may feel tight, tender, numb or restrictive, and some clients notice pulling or discomfort across the chest, breast or underarm area.
Mastectomy scar therapy is a gentle, specialist treatment designed to support the tissues around your surgical scars, helping to improve scar mobility, reduce feelings of tightness and help you feel more comfortable and connected with your body.
Every scar and every recovery is different, so your treatment is adapted to you and how your body feels on the day. We work gently and respectfully around the chest, breast and underarm area, always taking your comfort and boundaries into consideration.
Whether your surgery was recent or several years ago, it is never too late to give your scars some attention and care.

Frequently asked questions
When can I start mastectomy scar therapy?
Treatment is only carried out on fully healed scars. At your first appointment we'll talk through your surgery and any other treatment you've had, so your session can be adapted to you. If you're unsure whether you're ready, get in touch first.
Will I be in control of what's treated?
Always. We work gently and respectfully, taking your comfort and boundaries into consideration throughout, and you can pause or change anything at any time.
Is it ever too late to start scar therapy?
No. It's never too late to start. Scars that are many years old can still benefit, with clients often noticing changes in tightness, numbness and how freely the area moves.
Is scar therapy painful?
No. The techniques are gentle and non-invasive, and are always adjusted to your comfort. Most clients find their sessions deeply soothing and relaxing.
